It builds in the fail safe so that people in 1 age have to work so much harder than those in other ages, while not significantly reducing the difficulty overall. (it does seem curious that this one can roadblock some people for days and yet the 4 quests following it are super easy for everyone) I have to admit I'd rather it changed quest 1 to 1 from current or 2 from previous (especially when I just had the delete 5 from current or 5 from previous, couldn't make it easier could they?), it'd bring it inline with quest 4 "Build a cultural building from your age or 2 from the previous age". (fortunately I already have unlocked a tech with non-diamond decoration, but others might not have yet.) (when stuck in q1, you have almost no chance (except clicking the start button without selecting a prize) to collect stars for eight(!) days. * on 31st it was "build 3 decorations of your age" - bad game design as it was possible to get stuck on the penultimate day, not every era comes with a non-diamond decoration at the first unlocked tech, even as modern era was not implemented yet at that time.Īnd I agree, it is bad game design when you can get stuck for 8 days with quest 1 and some of the best items might come quite early in the event. * on 25th the quest was to build *whatever kind* of three buildings of the current age (should be possible in any age, contemporary era, where you would get stuck for 60 hours was not unlocked at that time) Most building quests were of the kind "build 2 buildings of the current or 3 of the previous age" or "build 3 buildings of whatever kind" or "recruit 3 units of the current or 4 of the previous age", and there were also a few quests like "plant a number of trees" - with two exceptions: There were 250 diamonds on 2nd and the wishing well on 4th of december. Last year the first quest was to make people happy and have 120 excess population.
